   Richard Lee Moreland, 77, of Mason, WV
passed away on December 8, 2008 at Pleasant
Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He
was born on February 28, 1931 in Fort Wayne,
Indiana son of the late Floyd Lee Moreland and
Margarette Elizabeth James.  
   He was a member of the St Paul Lutheran
Church in New Haven WV. He was also a lifetime
member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
9926 and the Faternal Order of Eagles Post
2171.
   He is survived by: Debra and Art Stall, Amy
and Ron Stansberry, Traceyann and Rob Roseman,
Kelly and Roy Truex, Timothy Moreland, John
Bush Jr., Penny Ohlinger, Hallie Taylor, Cody
Herdman, and several grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his parents and
a special friend, Ethel Herdman.
   A Memorial Service will be held on Friday
December 12, 2008 at 2pm at St. Paul Lutheran
Church in New Haven, WV with Pastor Sherri
Hofmann officiating.
