   Harold A. Kent, 88, of Point Pleasant, West
Virginia passed away on December 22, 2008.  He
was born on June 15, 1920 son of the late
Ralph D. Kent and Nellie A. Stover Kent.
   Mr. Kent was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was a survivor of the attacks on Pearl
Harbor; serving on the U.S.S. West Virginia.
   He was a member of the Creston United
Methodist Church and the American Legion Post
23.
   He is survived by three sons, Roger, Gary
and Andrew Kent and their spouses; two
sisters, Gertrude Hall and Mina Howard; a
brother, Ronald Kent; and several nieces and
nephews.
   In addition to his parents, he was preceded
in death by a daughter, Dianna Kent and a
brother, Ray Kent.
   Graveside funeral services will be held on
Monday, December 29, 2008 at 11:00am at
Creston Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Sayre
officiating.  Military funeral honors will be
presented by the American Legion Post 23.  
Anderson Funeral Home in New Haven is serving
the family.
