  Edwin Thomas Edwards, 82, of New Haven, West Virginia passed away on February 12, 2009 at his home.  He was born on April 17, 1926 at Broad Run in Mason County, West Virginia, son of the late Edwin Edwards and Janet Susan King Edwards.  He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church at Broad Run.
   He is survived by: his wife of fifty-two years, Agnes Edwards of New Haven; three children, Tommy and his wife, Kathy Edwards of Mason, Charlotte Gerlach of New Haven, Susan
and her husband Ken Swisher of Ripley;  grandchildren, Gabriel and his wife, Angie Edwards of New Haven, Beau and his wife, Misty Gerlach of Savannah, Georgia, Paige Gerlach of
Huntington, WV, Lauren Swisher of Ripley, Heath Swisher of Ripley, Kenneth and his wife, Beth Swisher; great grandchildren, Madden Gerlach and Kobe Moore; four step
grandchildren; fifteen step great grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Dudley of Mason and Julia Willoughby of Letart; and
several nieces and nephews.
   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Arla Oldaker.
   Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 2:00pm at the Zion Lutheran Church at Broad Run with Pastor
Sherrie Hofmann officiating.  Burial will follow at the Broad Run Cemetery.
