   Michael J. "Stroker" Stanley, 52, of New Haven, West Virginia passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009 at his home.  He was born on August 2, 1955 in Point Pleasant, West
Virginia son of Janice Ohlinger Stanley of New Haven and the late Ray J. Stanley.  He was a former boilermaker and truck driver.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time
with friends.
   In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Sean Stanley; a nephew, Joshua S. Miller and a niece, Melinda Miller.
    Stroker is survived by; his mother, Janice Stanley; two sisters, Vonna (David) Frye and Amanda Gilmore; step-daughter, Koah (Sean) Ruark; step grandson, Uriah M. Roark; special nephew, Justin "Little Man" Miller; nieces, Joanna (Rex) Gibbs, Codie Young, Amanda Gibbs, Chelsea Foster and Halo Young; step niece, Brittany Smith; nephews, Christopher (Julie) Miller, Steven Miller, Kristopher (Ashley) Gibbs, Nicholas S. Miller, Steven Garrette Miller and C.J. Miller; uncles, Charles (Norma) Stanley, Robert (Marion) Ohlinger, Strawford Ohlinger; aunt, Elizabeth Ohlinger; and many good friends.
   Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00pm at the Anderson Funeral Home in New Haven with Charles Hargraves officiating.  Burial will follow at Broad Run Cemetery.   Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.  A registry is available on-line at
