George William ?Bill?  ?Pops? Price 79, Long
Bottom died Saturday at his residence. He was
born in Meigs County the son of the late
Charles Eugene and Jessie Juanita Moser Price.  
Mr. Price was a Project Superintendent and had
a great reputation in Construction business
having supervised building many Bridges and
Power plants. He served in the U.S. Army Air
Corp, he was a 50year member of the Shade River
Masonic Lodge, and he was a 50+ year member of
the Carpenters Union with his last association
being with Local #1664 in Bloomington, IN.  Mr.
Price was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt
and fish and was a member of the Forked Run Gun
Club.  He was a member of the Long Bottom
United Methodist Church and the BEST GRANDPA
EVER!

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by
sisters: Evelyn Bigley, Mary Panell, Margie
Howland, and Dorothy Pence, and a brother
Charles Price.

Surviving are his wife of 60years Mary Frances
Mourning Price, Sons; William (Claudia) Price
Lebanon, IN., David (Mary) Price Middleport,
Randy (Lisa Lutes) Price Long Bottom,
Daughters; Penny (Pat) Mullen Long Bottom,
Debra Howard Long Bottom.              
Grandchildren: Max (Lisa) Price, Michelle
(Lilian) Coupey, Jacinda (Tony Reid) Mullen,
Jason (Kacy Ervin) Mullen, Joshua (Maggie
Smith) Price, Jesse Price, J.W. (Jenny Roush)
Howard, Joseph (Jessie Hutton) Howard, Jennifer
(John) Cooper, Robyn (Doug) Hall. Great
Grandchildren: Gavin and Ethan Mullen, Noah,
Abby and Owen Coupey, Coleson Price, Jasmine
Howard, Jayvin and Justin Roush, Emily, Mimi
and Sarah Jane Cooper, Dustin, Jason and Trevor
Hall.
Sisters: Mildred Bissell Ethel Carson and
Eloise Connelly, Several Nieces, Nephews
Brother in laws, Sister in laws and a host of
special friends.

Services will be 1:00pm Tuesday November 14,
2006 at the Pomeroy Chapel of Fisher Funeral
Homes with Rev. Norman Butler officiating.  
Entombment will follow in the Meigs Memory
Garden Mausoleum. Friends may call on Monday 2-
4 & 6-9p.m. at the funeral home.  
Masonic Service will be conducted at 8:45 by
the Shade River Masonic Lodge.
